Privacy Rights & Choices

Tell us the right you want to exercise, the email address or other identifier associated with your interaction with Aetheron, and enough context for us to locate the relevant information. Do not send identity documents unless we specifically request information necessary to verify the request.

Privacy rights differ by jurisdiction and are subject to statutory conditions and exceptions. Depending on the law that applies to a particular interaction, you may be entitled to one or more of the following rights.

• arrow_rightRestriction of or objection to certain processing in jurisdictions that provide those rights.
• arrow_rightWithdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
• arrow_rightData portability where the applicable law and processing context provide that right.
• arrow_rightOpt-out from promotional email or other direct marketing where applicable.
• arrow_rightComplaint or grievance handling and, where available, escalation to a competent supervisory authority or appeal mechanism.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm that a privacy request relates to you and to protect personal data from unauthorized disclosure. Verification should be proportionate to the sensitivity of the information and the type of request. We will not intentionally request more identity data than reasonably necessary for verification.

If we cannot verify a request using information reasonably available to us, we may be unable to disclose or delete certain data. Where applicable, we will explain the reason and any available next step.

Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request for you, we may require evidence that the agent is authorized to act on your behalf and may separately verify your identity or confirm the instruction with you, unless the law provides otherwise.

We aim to acknowledge and respond to valid requests within the time required by applicable law. Some laws permit an extension for complex or numerous requests, provided appropriate notice is given. We do not normally charge for an ordinary privacy request, although applicable law may permit a reasonable fee or refusal for requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive.

You can ask us to stop promotional email by replying with an opt-out request or emailing hello@aetherondeeptech.com with the subject 'Marketing Opt-Out'. Operational, contractual, security or legally required messages may still be sent when they are not promotional in nature.

Aetheron currently does not run a consumer newsletter or behavioural advertising program through the corporate website. If we introduce one, the relevant sign-up and preference controls will be updated before launch.

Aetheron does not currently sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because the current website does not engage in those practices, there is presently no separate sale/share opt-out link. If that changes and applicable law requires an opt-out mechanism or recognition of a legally valid preference signal, we will implement it before using personal data for that purpose.

Aetheron is preparing for the phased commencement of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. As relevant provisions become applicable, the company will provide the rights, grievance mechanism, consent withdrawal and other processes required of a Data Fiduciary for processing covered by the Act.

For an India-related grievance, email hello@aetherondeeptech.com with the subject 'Privacy Grievance — India' and explain the issue. We will review it and provide the appropriate response or escalation path under the law in force at that time.

You may have a right to complain to a data-protection or privacy regulator in your jurisdiction. We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to address the concern, but doing so does not remove a statutory right to approach a competent authority where the law provides one.
