Privacy Policy

Aetheron Deep Tech Private Limited ("Aetheron", "we", "us" or "our") is an India-based technology research and engineering company. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data in connection with the Aetheron corporate website, business enquiries, investor and media communications, recruitment enquiries and related pre-contract business interactions.

This policy does not replace a client-specific data processing agreement, master services agreement, employment notice or other contract. Where Aetheron processes personal data on behalf of a client under a written agreement, that agreement and any applicable data processing addendum will govern that processing to the extent they conflict with this website policy.

We collect personal data that you provide to us and limited technical data generated when you use the website. We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

We use personal data only for legitimate business and legal purposes connected with operating Aetheron, communicating with people who contact us and protecting our website and systems.

The legal basis for processing depends on the jurisdiction and context. Where a specific legal basis is required, we may rely on your consent, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, protection of legal rights, or our legitimate interests in operating and securing a business-to-business technology company where those interests are not overridden by applicable privacy rights.

Under Indian law, Aetheron will process digital personal data on the basis of consent or another lawful ground or legitimate use permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules as they become applicable. Where we request consent, the request should be specific to the stated purpose and capable of withdrawal in a manner appropriate to the service or communication.

At the last updated date of this policy, the project brief on the Contact page prepares a draft in the visitor's browser for review. The visitor can open it in an email application or copy it into an email service. The website itself does not currently transmit those project-brief fields to an Aetheron server-side form database. If you choose to send the prepared email, your message will be transmitted by your email provider to Aetheron's configured email service and will then be handled as business correspondence.

If we later replace this mechanism with direct server-side form submission, customer relationship management software or another enquiry system, we will update this policy and provide any collection notice or consent control required by applicable law before or at the point of collection.

Aetheron does not currently use the corporate website for behavioural advertising, cross-site profiling or advertising-cookie targeting. Strictly necessary technologies may be used by hosting, security or delivery providers to operate and protect the website. Our separate Cookie Notice explains the current position in more detail.

The website serves its Jost text fonts and Material Symbols interface icons from its own hosting infrastructure. Loading these fonts does not require a connection to Google Fonts. Our hosting and delivery provider still receives ordinary connection data required to deliver website resources.

If we introduce non-essential analytics, marketing cookies or similar tracking that requires consent in a visitor's jurisdiction, we will implement appropriate notice and consent controls before activating those technologies for affected users.

We may disclose personal data to service providers that help us operate our website, communications and business, but only for relevant purposes and subject to appropriate contractual or service terms. Current website infrastructure includes Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery and security. Third-party resources used by the site may also receive limited connection data as described above.

Depending on the interaction, recipients may also include Aetheron's email, productivity, accounting, legal, professional-advisory, cloud, development, collaboration or customer-management providers; personnel and contractors who need the information for their role; a successor or counterparty in a legitimate corporate transaction; and regulators, courts or authorities where disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising as those concepts may be defined under applicable US state privacy laws.

Aetheron is headquartered in India and may use service providers or communicate with customers and partners in other countries. Personal data may therefore be processed in India and in other jurisdictions where our service providers, counterparties or technical infrastructure operate.

Where applicable law requires a specific transfer mechanism or safeguard, we will use an appropriate mechanism available under that law, which may include contractual safeguards, an adequacy mechanism, a permitted statutory exception or another lawful transfer basis. You may contact us for information about safeguards relevant to a particular processing activity where the law gives you that right.

We retain personal data for no longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, taking into account the nature of the relationship, contractual requirements, security needs, statutory record-keeping, tax and accounting obligations, limitation periods, dispute resolution and the need to establish or defend legal claims.

A business enquiry that does not become an engagement will generally be retained only for a reasonable relationship-development and record-keeping period and may be deleted or anonymised earlier when it is no longer useful or required. Security and infrastructure logs are retained according to operational and provider retention settings. Contract and transaction records may need to be kept for longer periods required by applicable corporate, tax or accounting law.

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration and disclosure. Measures are selected according to the nature of the information and can include access controls, secure infrastructure, transport encryption, account security, least-privilege practices, logging, backups and vendor controls where appropriate.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you believe you have identified a vulnerability affecting an Aetheron-controlled system, please follow our Security & Vulnerability Disclosure Policy rather than testing in a manner that could expose other people's data or disrupt services.

The public corporate website does not currently use solely automated decision-making to make legal or similarly significant decisions about visitors. We may use software or AI-assisted tools internally for productivity, security, drafting, research or business operations, subject to appropriate controls and confidentiality requirements for the context.

Client data used in an engineering engagement is governed by the applicable client agreement. Aetheron does not obtain a general right to use confidential client data to train public AI models merely because it performs software or AI engineering services. Any materially different use should be expressly agreed in the relevant contract or data processing terms.

The Aetheron corporate website is intended for professional and business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from anyone under 18 through this corporate website. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us without appropriate authorization, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to obtain information about processing, access personal data, request correction, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, obtain portable data, opt out of certain marketing, or complain to a competent regulator. Some rights are subject to exceptions and verification requirements.

Aetheron will not discriminate against a person for exercising a privacy right that applicable law grants to them. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify identity and authority before acting on a request. An authorized agent may be required to demonstrate authority where applicable.

India: Aetheron is established in India. We are preparing our privacy practices for the phased commencement of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, including clear notice, purpose limitation, appropriate security, data-principal rights and grievance handling as those provisions become applicable.

United Arab Emirates: where the UAE Federal Personal Data Protection Law applies, processing will be handled in accordance with applicable requirements concerning lawful processing, security, data-subject rights and cross-border transfers.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom: Aetheron does not currently operate a dedicated EEA or UK consumer service, but if GDPR or UK GDPR applies to a particular interaction, the rights and transparency requirements of the applicable regime will be respected. Mere global accessibility of this corporate website should not be interpreted as a representation that Aetheron maintains an establishment in those jurisdictions.

United States: Aetheron does not currently represent that it meets the statutory thresholds that make every US state comprehensive privacy law applicable. Where a state privacy law applies to a particular processing activity, we will honor the rights required by that law. We do not currently sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, service providers, business operations or applicable laws change. The 'Last updated' date identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how we use personal data already collected and applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will take the steps required by that law.
